bryan breeden knives. super affordable custom blades.

I hear all the time I want a crazy affordable custom knife that is a beast. well I give you bryan breedens knives. mostly in o1 none of that fancy steel but his heat treat is amazing and they hold a edge forever. I know that bryan is getting a ton of attention in the wilderness sections on bladeforums and it is $#@! well earned. 2 blades showed up today on my door step. the box was open and I was worried my blades would be missing but fortunately in the country your mail man can be trusted lol. I'm not sure what models I got but I think the lord greystroke and a mini recon. they came so sharp it's not even funny. I mean some of the sickest sharp blades I have ever seen. the big one is a 10 inch blade, 15 inches plus over all and is a freaking monster. the smaller one is right under 10 inches over all and I got them in a piggyback set up. here are some pictures. I haven't got a chance to beat on them yet but it is coming for sure. I did manage to work on some fuzz sticks and these things are so sharp it's hard to even keep the wood shavings on the stick lol. here are a few pictures. my camera absolutely sucks and I should just use my iphone I guess. I'll add some from both lol.

I'm not sure if his prices have gone up as he has been getting a pretty good wait list but I will say for both blades in kydex sheaths (not the best by any means but functional for sure) he would have done leather also (and his leather work is solid) anyhow. shipped and paypal fees for both knives was under 250 dollars. that is a steal folks. if your interested pm and I'll hook you up with his email but hurry lol.

with a baldric rig made out of paracord by our very own kimmi. pretty cool stuff, she did a amazing job for sure. killer quality and a great price.

and some iphone pics lol. not sure why my camera sucks so bad.

the baldric rigs clasp points are just a bit to big for the eyelets in kydex (my fault completely) but me being a smart guy I figured out a simple fix. key rings. and they work great. kimmi made this baldric rig completely custom for me with no serious instruction other than some vague bs lol and I wants. it's adjustable in length and everything. this will be my winter set up for sure and probably even a every other season set up as I always carry my gun even with hiking. if you need some paracord or stitching work done then hit her up for sure.

I'm here, I'm here. I can only tell you so many times how much I love these bad ass knives you keep coming up with. I read every post and ogle every picture.

The knife section tends to lag behind. I could do more. I need to get out and post some of my stuff.

    Until then, keep em coming.

I don't understand what that Kimmi rig is supposed to do. Maybe you could expand on that. Knives look nice.

yeah sorry I forget that. kimmi's rig is basically a sling for my knives. in the winter if you have your coveralls on there is no belt on them so you run this over your shoulders and attach it to your sheath and you got a great way to carry your blades that leaves your pockets and stuff open. or if you like me and you always carry a gun when hiking or playing in the woods then your gun is on your belt already where the knife would normally go. this allows you to carry your blades and guns. if your riding a 4 wheeler or anything this allows the blades to move with your body so it's a lot more comfortable seated or you can just take it over very quickly (no messing with your belt) and throw it in your truck or whatever. it's something a lot of tribes and indigenous people do since they don't wear belts.

kimmi set mine up so it's adjustable in length, I can add smaller maxpedition packs and pockets to it, really neat stuff. I'm very impressed with it. she did a great job for sure.

here is some pictures of them in use (hilarious that my pictures are already showing up in the google search too)

Those are some badass blades... I might have to check them out. Been itchin' for some more steel lately.

Does he offer different scales? I know the orange helps locate one if you drop it in the woods, but it makes my eyes burn lol

I don't think he has a website. He generates most his sales off bladeforums in the wilderness section.

I'll pm you his email and you can go from there. I'll post up a link to that has pictures of a lot of his models and stuff

Didn't see one... I'll shoot him an email and see what he has to say... Just noticed that's the same as the one grunt has (slightly longer point) but the green micarta scales really make it look better IMO

EDIT: Wow, that was a quick reply.. looks like about $130 for 3/16" thick or $140 for 1/4" with green micarta scales + shipping. Says he's about 10 months backed up right now. May put in an order for one.

Man that is a nice knife but I doubt I can justify the expense for something I would rarely use. I need a small daily carry, I'm wearing my Gerber out fast.

You wont pay till its finished anyway. Most custom makers don't charge until its ready to ship out. His wait time is probably really closer to 5 months but he is getting very popular. It's no wonder with as nice as the blades are and for the price they are hard to beat.

Corp d if he offers you the option go for his leather sheaths. They ate pretty nice
