Guns Knives & More - Paoli Indiana

Just finished 4 days of training with Mad Duck Training from John Faquhar, HOME

Classes were given at Guns Knives and More gun shop in Paoli Indiana, hosted by the owner Willie Sprinkle. Guns, Knives and More LLC

I'm well satisfied with the experience all the way around. The instructor was excellent and offered training I was looking for. The facilities were excellent, well maintained and conveniently located. They are a newer facility and clean and fairly priced as well as in the process of building an all NEW facility for the gun shop sales area. The road construction on 37 was no problem at all in accessing the facilities.

I recommend every aspect of this experience with out reservation or complaint of any kind other than I forgot to ask for the seniors discount.

Who are you and what did you do with Jack?

Willy has put together a good thing there. No complaints from me either.

A senior forgetting to ask for the senior's discount? That joke seems too easy.

Willy gives money off for paying cash. I don't know if he has a rule of thumb or not. But when I bought a used .44 rifle there, he had $300 on it. I was going to offer him $285. When I asked about the price and that I was paying cash, I got it for $275 without even asking for a discount.
He has a FB page, I put some local-ish people on it. He posts any specials he is having on there before he does them. He marked down some of his NEW H&R .44/.357 rifles to $300. I've seen a couple times of selling ammo at $1 over his cost. And he often puts his cost/MSRP and says to make him an offer on guns that he has.
He did just this week change his hours being open only on the weekend.

I bought my M&P Shield from him. It's a great shop, and he has great plans for it with the range, training, and store. Plus his Facebook page gives you the heads up on his new arrivals before anyone else knows. Not to mention, he isn't happy with our current state of State either. I gave him a couple of boxes of INS business cards when I was there, as well as a giant logo poster to hoist. Not sure if he ever got around to displaying it.
Once, a man was free to seek his own happiness, to gain and produce, not to give up and renounce. To prosper, not to starve. To achieve, not to plunder. To hold as his highest possession a sense of his personal value. And as his highest virtue, his self respect. Now it just shows up in his mailbox in the form of a check.

The poster is on the front of the building next to the front door.

For those of you close to Paoli, or feel like making a drive, he is running his Screw Obama sale all next week too. He said he is selling every gun he has at cost. Not sure of his inventory, but might be worth a look.

Need more shops like this. Too many of the ones around me are either small time and set in their ways, full blown retail, full of $#@! baggery or a combination of all of the above.

I just get the feeling he's not in it to make a great living on owning a gun shop. He's in it cuz he's $#@!ed at this .gov.

meh, don't care. Seems like something the originals at one of my old shops would of done. Now the moved to the main drag by all the retail stores. Never been the same since. i hardly recognize any one there any more.

Trade the keltec but keep the 17. 17 mags will fit the 19 and you should always have a backup.

Short on cash to offset the difference. I've thought about taking some rifles, but I doubt he needs more .22 rifles.
