    Indiana Pig hunting

I keep hearing about wild pigs in Southern Indiana. However I have yet to find any. Does anyone know where these pigs are supposed to be? Having pig hunted in Georgia and really have a blast with it I would like to find some good pig hunting in Indiana.

More internet talk than anything. I have yet to see a pic of a wild pig killed in Indiana.

I did see a pack of them one early morning in a field eating south of Danville, Indiana one day driving to a job.
Shit happens. The ripples just stop and then it's over like nothing was ever there.

I have seem some feral pigs but that is different. More white and brown colors. You will see them in packs in Georgia but mostly they are black.

I live in Southern Indiana and yes there are wild hogs running around in the Leesville area... I have personally seen them and their tracks and destruction to crops and fields.

I want to see a picture of the dead one the person posting it killed with today's Herald Times News paper held in their hands between their face and the dead pig.

I remember when all this wild hog crap started in IN...no matter who ya heard the story from it was always the same "some rich business man let some wild russian boars loose for his club to hunt" the counties they where released in varies. Ive personally seen hogs in the wild and have even shot AT one...we had 2 killed on some property we leased years ago by a bow hunter on our lease. both the hogs he killed had no trace of russian boar in them. we use to find places in our woods where hogs had tore up the ground. but we had at least 3 hog farms that I know of within 20 miles of our property and my guess is the two boars the bow hunter killed, the one I shot at and the damage we use to find was all the result of escaped domestic hogs. though feral hogs can be a problem...we just dont have that problem down here that everyone on the interwebz thinks that we have. everyone seems to think we have this huge problem down here with wild hogs and they want to come hunt them..I can guarantee you that you could come down here and hunt for weeks upon weeks and never find one to shoot.

    Too easy to photoshop.

The entire time I've had my property (23 years now) the locals have told me there's feral hogs running around out here. I've yet to see any sign of them though. I've seen mink, weasels, bobcats, and bald eagles in that time...

Pigs are easy to hunt in Indiana, just sit in your vehicle outside of any Golden Corral or Cracker Barrel.

Illegal to hunt from a vehicle unless you are handicapped. Better to hunt them in the aisles of WalMart. More sporting.

*shudder* I'd give up the sport first. Too much potential for something to go horribly wrong, like having the bottle of doe-in-heat bust open in your pocket while squatting to take a crap...

We use these picture to get you to give us your money.

*All hunts require a 50% deposit to reserve your date.
Mail me $350 and tell me what day you'll be here and I'll have a $25 pig ready for ya to shoot when you get here. The other $350 is due when you step out of the truck. No refunds.

Go for it and let me know how it works out for ya. They have a lot of ground leased.

I didn't see any dead ones there reading a current Lawrence county paper.

I lived in northern warrick county and I've seen wild (black) hogs. The backside of the property is now called Interlake on the DNR website.
