Never really did any "long" range but, looking forward to some tips from ya. Maybe one of these days I'll get a good platform for a long range rifle.

The extent of my long range is .30-06 in an open field for groundhogs lol. Always like it though.

Shit happens. The ripples just stop and then it's over like nothing was ever there.

I actually flew by the machine gun game, price of ammo just wasn't worth it for me, 1st round hits at 1,000 yds not that is fun. Anyone can pull a trigger, takes practice and a lot of effort to learn the long game.

Welcome to INS. Cru and others have spoken highly of you, and I hope you find a good home here. I'm sure our "family" will treat you right!

To hold as his highest possession a sense of his personal value. And as his highest virtue, his self respect. Now it just shows up in his mailbox in the form of a check.

    Welcome Sniper Company!
I'm not much of a sniper, more of a <500 yds with a good combat weapon guy, but I've started reading some of your posts and sure there's at thing or two in there for me.

Same here! I started getting interested in long range skills about five years ago and within the last couple of years got to the point where my skills outgrew my equipment so I stepped up. Now my rifles/optics are better than I am again and I'm back to being humbled a lot :) Combined with my love of reloading and it's a winning combination for keeping the learning curve up.

Welcome to you folks, INS will benefit well from your experience and expertise here, and it's great to have a site supporter that caters to the toys I like :)

we have offered clinics but it is hard to schedule and prefer doing one on ones or small groups, but I really enjoy offering classes to people who want to learn like I did.

    The long range bug

I too am from snipercompany.com and am happy to answer any questions that any of you may have. I am also a Hoosier from Northern Indiana and shoot the long range toys at Young's Long Shot located near Wolcottville. I shoot ALOT of rifle from .22lr, .223, .308, .338 Lapua, and .50 BMG. I shoot 1000yd regularly and like to reach out further when the chance arises. Before anyone says anything about my user name I will say that I AM a trained sniper. My true love is with the long gun but I also compete in run and gun (IDPA). I reload everything I shoot (minus rim-fire of course) and love to study ballistics both internal and external. I plan on dropping by as much as time allows, and I look forward to chatting it up with all of you.

    Thanks for having me,
    Sniper Joe
