    Review: Bullhide Belt from Bullhidebelts.com

I went to the Indy 1500 this past weekend with the main goal of picking up a good belt to use with my Crossbreed Supertuck holster. My previous belt was a $#@!ies from Wally World, and while it was a decent belt for the money, my holster was wreaking havoc on it, as it was just not made to take that kind of stress.

I had reviewed several belts prior to making a purchase but I just wasn't sold on any of them. I stumbled onto Bullhidebelts.com just a few days before the show. I was very impressed with what I was seeing on their website and I almost ordered one, but decided to wait till after the show. Much to my surprise, they were at the show!!

I talked to Virden Bryan at the booth about all the different options that they offered. I told him that I planned to carry IWB and he recommended the BullHide Belt. This belt is super stout and comes in just a hair over 1/4" thick! He sized me up and handed me a Black Creased Edge Bullhide Belt to try on because he wanted to make sure that I got the exact size that I needed. It was quite comical watching me trying to get holstered back up with the new belt without dropping my pants in the middle of the show; the ole lady got a good laugh at me!! Once holstered and belted back up, I knew this was the belt. It held the Crossbreed tight against my body and did not want to sag; something that I fought with the $#@!ies belt.

I wore the belt all day at the show and not once did I have to re-adjust or pull the holster back into place. The belt is extremely well built and heavily constructed all the way to the buckle. I was worried that it would be uncomfortable with it being so thick, but that is not the case. You hardly even know that it is there.

We also picked up a belt for my fiance while we were at the booth. She plans to carry as well and I wanted her to have a good belt. He recommended the Bridle Leather Belt for her. It too is a very stout belt and is 3/16" thick. She loved it and also wore it for the remainder of the day. She was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was and that she did not have to re-adjust at all with the belt.

Also, these belts are not only American made, they are Indiana made!!!

I have one of these and like it a lot, it gets rotated in with my Galco belts
I wouldn't recommend sex, drugs or insanity for everyone, but they've always worked for me.

He won't let you out of there without trying on the belt and you have to put it through the belt loops and buckle it to make sure it's a good fit. Lol. I got mine at the October show and have worn it almost every single day. I love it and plan on pickingbup a brown one at the next show.

Cathy and I bought belts from them last March or so, and Cathy boight a belt mounted ID/credit card holder that she just loves. Great belts, very comfy and sturdy, and carries even big guns well. I will be buying another this year. I have gone down a couple waist sizes, and the finish is thrashed on one spot. I carry my speedloader in a holder that splits the cartrdges between the front and back of the belt. Low profile, but hell on the finish of a thick belt.
    Slightly used, but new.

I'm wearing mine right now. Love this belt. The only problem is that it's do thick I had to have new holster loops made, but that was worth it!

Yep, I've been wearing mine every day since I bought it in March. Still looks brand new.

I thought the sale was a pretty good deal, so I thought I'd share it and pass it along.
